Julian Assange Closer To US Transfer After London Court Issues Extradition Order

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has just come a major step closer to being transferred into US custody, after on Wednesday a London court issued a formal extradition order during a hearing. All that awaits is higher government approval for the legal ruling, a remaining limited appeals process notwithstanding.
